In the TIMES on Tuesday last week there was an interesting article on Page
9, bewailing the loss of the Black Veined White, Large Tortoiseshell, Large
Blue and decrease in the Silver Spotted Skipper. The article very correctly
points the finger at HABITAT DESTRUCTION and not collecting as the primary
cause for the loss and reduction in our butterfly fauna. The article also
describes some of the successes stories as well.

Just a shame the TIMES couldn't get the Silver Spotted Skipper picturte
right though.
