First, I would like apologize for the misdirected listproc command which
I sent out in my first message to LEPS-L. I will chalk it up to new
subscriber/poster jitters.
Second, I was wondering if anyone would like to take a crack at a three
skippers which I photographed a couple of years ago in middle Georgia
(USA).
The first appears to be a Little Glassywing, Pompeius verna; however the
somewhat distinct white spot on the underside of the hindwing a little
puzzling, as is the apparent lack of white area below the antennal
club. The image may be viewed at the following location; it was
photographed on 9 Aug 1998 at BF Grant WMA, Putnam Co., GA (south of
Athens, east of Atlanta, north of Macon, if that helps narrow the
location down):

The second and third are a little more troublesome to me knowing the
pitfalls of trying to id duskywings, but I have tentatively identified
them as Horace's Duskywings, Erynnis horatius.
The second may be viewed at the following location; it was photographed
on 16 Aug 1998 at Blanton Creek WMA, Harris Co., GA (north of Columbus,
GA):

The third may be viewed at the following location; it was photographed
on 16 Aug 1998 at Warm Springs Nat'l Fish Hatchery, Meriwether Co., GA
(northeast of Columbus, GA):

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as I am attempting to
catalog and digitize my photos.
Take care.
