I'm new to this wonderful hobby: The Catocala I caught on a sugared tree two weeks ago is perfect for the description of the C. alabamae in Covell's Peterson guide. Would someone kindly give me a definitive way of making sure it's not C. grynea? I was excited to read that C. alabamae is rare here in RI, but now I'm questioning my ID. Thanks, George
