Painted Lady finally arrive

At last!! Several reports of P LAdy entering from france this week. After a 'dribble' earlier in the week, good numbers of Painted Lady into Kent all day on the 7th.  Numbers were estimated at 100s, in fields immediately inland from the coast, Elmley Marsh RSPB reserve, Kent.
Also sightings much further north.  Any other similar news?

Meadow Brown & Marbled white already reported; very early.

If only the sun would shine for two or three days consecutively, who knows what would be seen.
