Thank you for the I.D. Humming-bird Hawkmoth (Macroglossum stellatarum) I think you are correct. I have looked around on the web to find a photo of this creature in flight and feeding but can find nothing that shows this moth at it's glorious best. Again, thanks for your help. Dennis
