Brown Argus in Clwyd.

I recently did some butterfly monitoring on limestone sites in Clwyd. I was
aware of the debate surrounding Northern Brown and Brown Argus in Clwyd so
paid particular attention to the group. I found them at one or two sites to
be distinctly univoltine and at others to be bivoltine, I never found both
types present on one site, and they also didn't seem to fit the "one type to
the south and the other type to the north" pattern that I had read about in
an old Butterfly Conservation. Unfortunately I never found any eggs.

If anyone has anything up to date on this matter, or wishes to discuss it
further I would love to hear from you.
