second sightings

At lunch today I walked a mile each way on a bicycle trail to look at the
neighborhood with dozens of cherry trees.  The trees are near their peak
and were gorgeous.  On the trail I saw at least 5 Cabbage White (Pieris
rapae) and 1 Clouded Sulphur (Colias eurytheme).  No Mourning Cloak
(Nymphalis antiopa?) as during the warm spell earlier this month.  Today it
was only 70* or so, perhaps less, at lunch.  All our snow melted long ago )-:
