book question

Hello,
I was searching in a box of books that my father had purchased at an auction last week. To my surprise, I found a book entitled Instructions for Collecting and Preserving Valuable Lepidoptera. It was written by James Sinclair in 1917. I was just curious to see if anyone has ever heard of this book or writer.
