I would like to hear what folks have to say about this:

What is the current best guess why moths are attracted to light?
Or is it only some moths and not all?
Or is it common to all insects?  Which begs the original question in a more
encompassing form -

Why are insects attracted to light?
Or is it only some insects and not all?

Or is it some light (wavelengths) and not all?
Or - - - ?
