Greetings, Jennifer

I know very little about lepidopterists or entomologists in Tennessee, but
there is a chapter of the North American Butterfly Association [NABA]
located in middle Tennessee, Presiden Rita Venable, 601 Franklin Road,
Franklin, TN 37069; Rita's e-mail address is: <venable at lituus.net>. The web
site for NABA is <http://www.naba.org>. Another national organization
where people may gather locally at least for butterfly counts is the Xerces
Society, which has a concern for wide spectrum of invertebrates besides
butterflies; web site at <www.xerces.org>.
