Caterpillar ID?

Can anyone identify this caterpillar?

Unfortunately, I didn't think to pay close attention to the host plant, but
I think it was leatherleaf (Chamaedaphne calyculata), or a similar heath at
the edge of a pong/bog on 30 September.  It is not in Caterpillars of
Eastern Forests (Wagner, et. al).
