Boloria reiffi was described by Reuss in 1925 based on material from British
Columbia, Canada. This taxon has been synonymized with B. alaskensis in the
literature but I can find no evidence that anyone has ever looked at the
type specimen to confirm this treatment. I welcome dialogue with anyone who
knows where the Reuss collection is or could help me access a color image of
the type material of Boloria reiffi. Thank you.
