Ron wrote of beginnings and endings, of something out of nothing and it's
eventual return. Of course, focusing on the insignificance of life given
the larger perspective is one way of looking at it. But why should we
separate human effects from the equation? From a Creationist view, mankind
is given the responsibility to caretake the planet (along with free will) -
but is prone to blunder, and therefore suspect. God, the Creator, can
replace the creation at any time - so ultimately no loss other than a lost
opportunity to do right.
