I have never heard of Evolutionists predicting everything will collapse
and revert to nothing again, or 'that po(a?)st this collapse, there will
be a "new heaven and earth" or "another big bang"'. Could you expand on
this?

I was referring to the secular concept in Science that the Universe is in
an endless cycle of expansions and collapses. After each collapse there is
a Big Bang and everything starts all over again. I paralleled this to the
fact that many see the Bible as teaching that the present heavens and earth
will be done away with and totally created again and anew by God.
Two interesting books are "Darwin's Black Box" and "Six Numbers". Two
differing views of origin and function of the Universe. The first is by a
formerly non-religious molecular scientist who was driven by the "evidence"
to the conclusion that the Universe is clearly designed and therefore there
must be a Designer. Very interesting book - void of religion. The other
book I have not read. A member of my church has and has relayed a number
of things in it to me. I plan on reading it. Its author is not religious,
and when coming to points that might indicate Divine presence or action,
dismisses this as not possible due to his atheistic views (this is what I
have been told).
Technically, I would have to be classed as a Creationist simply because I
believe Jesus is Creator/God. However, there are several areas where I
depart greatly from traditional creationism. I see no contradiction
whatsoever between science and the Bible. Of course the catch 22 here is
what I accept as "true" science :-) _and_ "correct" biblical application
:-0 I never discuss any of this in depth outside of in person
conversation. I have written some on this - but it is all out of print.
