Vanessa movements and Peck's skipper

Fed full on Bt pollen, they have become immortal, and allllll their eggs
become butterflies. They are also venemous (watch out for that scale
dust, Leroy) and their offspring can feed on anything. 
I expect to find the caterpillars on the rhododendron and lonicera, any
minute now. 
In other news, I believe that I have a pine marten family in ny ceiling.
They have raised one litter, and I hear very affectionate noises going
on up there. So far, only vocal ... 
Does anyone happen to know whether they have two broods in Ireland? I
know this is off topic, but there are some knowledgeable people on this
list. 
Rare and shy, my foot. (I've seen a parent; this is not idle
speculation. And I know what rats sound like.)
