Lake Tahoe area weather in late April?

Help,

I have to book an itinerary for a meeting at Lake Tahoe / Reno the week
of April 23rd in the next couple of days.  Will it be spring in either
the Lake Tahoe or Reno area??  Will there be cool leps about???  This
will have a profound impact on my potential travel plans.
