The only thing werst then my spellin ist my math. Leroy's The 8.7 million
is for a whole season (year) -- the 9 billion is for just one day (see my
edit below where I put his words in bold). So 9 would have to be X 150+/-
THUS the measly 8.7 million taken over the course of 150 days is out of a
total of 1 TRILLION 350 BILLION. Here were I is we-uns calls this a drop
in a rain pond.

PS. I only collect about 200 specimens a year - all butterflies except for
about 15 moths.

Lepidopterists collect 8.7 million. The percentage is a whooping 0.000966,
or less than one - one thousand of one percent.
