Hello.
Here is your search process:
1/ Go to your web browser (I use Netscape Navigator 4.75, so these
instructions fit it exactrly; adapt them to fit your own browser) and,
under Fles, click on Subscribe.
2/ There you will find a choice: once the full listing of newsgroups
that are available to you has come up in the window, click on Search.
3/ Enter the search term (something that appears in the name of the
newsgroup you want) you want to search for; entomo would do fine to find
this one. A list of matches will come up in the window.
4/ Click on the small symbol between the newsgroup name and the number
of messages it contains. It will turn into a checkmark; you are now
done for that newsgroup.
5/ If there are other terms you want to search for, go back to step 2.
6/ When you are done doing the same for the other newsgroups you want to
get, click OK to return to reading your newsgroup posts. The newsgroups
you just checked will appear in the left window of your newsgroup
reader.
Good luck and have fun.
Pierre
