Unidentified chrysalis

Well, I have some bad news.  It was parasitized.  I took a chance and
cut it open cuz it felt very light, and the pupal skin was unusually
flexible, and in it was a developing wasp which I immediately killed.  I
suppose in retrospect I should've kept it and such, but well, hindsight
is 20/20.  On the other hand, I was able to find 4 larvae later amongst
the Cirsium spp..
