Never trust a publisher's blurb

A friend who has a copy of 'Butterflies of the World' by Sbordoni
& Forestiero looked up the passage about 'polar fritillaries', and found
that the book itself says, "...adults are observed only during odd years
in some areas of Norway and Alaska..." So the implied extension of that
behavior to all of Alaska and Norway was made by the blurb writer, not
by the authors.
