So, Hans and Neil are working on Colin Foley's Painted Lady map web
page, to go with Butterflies for Peace, and Hans suggests that we plan a
get-together for Easter, March 31, (to go with my grandfather's poem),
maybe in the Keys, with full media attention, and he would like to wear
his clown suit.
If he gets to, we all get to.
Butterflies for Peace needs to be non-sectarian, of course, and it's a
pity that Joyce didn't name the poem Spring Cleaning, but there we are
and so it goes.
We need to weave in everybody's spring festivals, religious and secular,
remembering that for half the world it is, in fact, fall.
When their spring comes, we'll give them back double the butterflies.

Hans has asked for a list of who is in this thing, and what their titles
might be, so this is a splendid opportunity for all of you to claim a
title in the Butterfly Coalition and describe your role and function.

I am Viceroy, because I say so, and there is room for Cardinals,

Vice-Chancellors, Sages, Druids, Bards, saints, scholars and poets,

and all manner of officials. Admirals of many colors, seraphim and cherubim.

You may draw your title from wizardry, the military, science and the
arts, and whatever you say you are, that be with all your might.
As for the Monarch, that's the Lady Earth, I think, and we may all
impersonate her, but it may be well to be careful with that.
I think that Neil, Hans and Rick Mikula are probably WebMasters, and we
can use a lot more of those.

The Butterfly Coalition, by the way, is a Pan-Galactic organization,

with principles based loosely on the writings of Theodore Sturgeon, whom you

may know through his work with Star Trek. And, of course, Terry
Pratchett, who also appreciates the impact of the butterfly.
