I once had the opportunity to see a diarama that consisted of two timber
wolves chasing an elk before it was to be opened for public display. When
completed and readied for general viewing, the saliva that was drooling from
the sides of the animals' mouths in the pre-public presentation had been
"edited out."  Museum management did the "right " thing.  Don't
unnecessarily disturb your audience with reality.
