Yes there is plenty of timber below the altitude where the
monarchs overwinter, but the American scientists scream
bloody murder if any of it is cut down by the local people
to grow crops

Indeed, the monarchs swarm to these exact same agricultural
clearings in late winter

abundant nectar and drinking water.

Is clear cut logging sometimes good for monarchs?  What do
