Greetings:)

This week we will have been on twice. Monday we had an encore of the
25 May show with Tampa Bay Water on DESAL.

On Fridays, Neil Cosentino has "Bay World" 11-Noon. It alternates
between local stuff, social cultural and polical and civil aviation a
very important part of Bay World Public Trust, Inc. (BWPTi). Well, we
sent him to New York on some C2M business and BJ Lower and I are
doing a special C2M show (I hope neil brings back some real NY
pizza). 

It is on water issues and will concentrate, after covering some Tampa
Bay area issues, on the water poluution problems in the state and
elswhere that are making so many headlines. These situations are
coming to a head and we are actively working in NE FL. Linda Young,
SE Director,Clean Water Network and  a C2M Project Manager just won a
victory over DEP today. She will be one of three guests. Ralf
Brookes, Florida's premier environmental attorney, (actually we have
3 excellent ones contributing to Nature Potpourri) a friend of C2M
and Nature Potpourri will also be on as well as our own David Wiles
(C2M Programs Director). David, Judy Williams Linda, BJ Chester
Bradshaw, Jim Threadgill, myself and others by the dozens are working
on water Projects in the State of Florida. We hope to see some of
these projects go nationwide to help the many fine citizen and
environmental groups doing something about our waters being used as
sewers... As dumping grounds for toxic wastes. We need solutions that
will give industry a solution and save jobs. Nothing can be done
until the politcs of water are addressed.

On Monday, Time: 11-Noon EDST 29, July, Steve Komlos and i will be
addressing the Eastern decidous Forests again with the emphasis on
the central and southern Appalachians. We will discuss niches and
neotropical migrants and other themes. we hope for you to call in
with your $.02 worth.

5 August, we will continue with an overview of Coniferous Forest
Ecosytems. 

August 12, Katy Anderson, Joe murphy and I will have as quests,
Suzanne Tar, Staff biologist, Save the Manatee Club. She will be
joined by the fourth appearance of Susanna Lindberg. It is ovious we
will be talking of the Manatee. Look at this weeks Nature Potpourri
for the most recent news!

August 19, Joe and I will come back and Join Steve for our continuing
series on  Coastal Ecosystems. The main theme will be the life and
ecology of the salt water marshes. The most productive ecosytem in
the world. Veronica, BJ and I will be posting background for this
show on Nature Potpourri. I will be asking our good friend, Dr.
Gregory Mann, marine biologist, to call in and give us some
perspective. Snails, spartina and birds..what more would anyone want?
Dr. Greg is the list -owner of the popular Yahoo Group, Marine
Biology International. Check it and his personal website out.

Coming up a series on florida birdlife and more on Brooker Creek and
other facilities. We wil have the dive trip...I promise.
