	An illuminating display of intemperate ignorance--whether meant
seriously, or a joke. Either way, it's the guffaw for the day...

a) As others have noted, collectors don't kill butterflies by sticking pins
through them.

b) If butterflies are 'sweet', then how about their marked preference for
feces and urine as nutrient sources? I saw this happen on the North Slope
back in 1973--a reeking pile of fresh human turds just covered with hap-
pily feeding _Papilio machaon_.

If the author was _not_ ignorant, then "Mit der Dummheit kampfen Gotter
selbst vergebens."
