This species is incredibly abundant in all my local sphagnum bogs 
(Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada). The only possible foodplants are: 
Ledum groenlandicum, Rhodora canadense, Andromeda glaucophylla, 
Chaemodaphne calyculata. None of these bogs have Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, a 
species of sandy and gravelly solis.
