Chlosyne marina/eumeda

Earlier this week, after the SEABA trip to Alamos, Sonora, we spent a couple
of days in the Yecora area.
East of Yecora near Maycoba, we saw a number of individuals of the form of
C. marina/eumeda that had the red rectangles on the sub-marginal band of the
hind wing broken by one dark rectangle with a small white dot in the middle.
We did get some pictures which are being developed now.
A few years ago west of Yecora we photographed a Chlosyne (see Stewart et al
"Butterflies of Arizona...." page 365) with the row of red rectangles
unbroken.
Can anyone tell me which form is marina and which is eumeda?  I know Doug
Mullins has been working on this.
