Moth Images Update 2 August 2003 - Micros!

The new update for my images of moths of the Ottawa (Canada) area adds 33 
species from Oecophoridae, Gelechiidae, Plutellidae, Sesiidae and 
Tortricidae, and updates another 9 species with new and better photographs, 
thanks to my acquisition of an Olympus E-20 digital camera this year.  Now 
that the combination of digital + macro mode is making these micros 
visually more accessible to more people, we seriously need more widely 
available resources to help with identification for these little ones, even 
though there are plenty that can't be IDed on the basis of gross appearance 
alone.  So how about a little more attention to the little guys?  Some of 
them (1046 Callima argenticinctella, for example) are real little gems that 
would surpass some of our large and spectacular species if we could only 
see them better!
