I AM FORWARDING THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ON A GIANT SWALLOWTAIL IN PROSPECT
PARK, BROOKLYN NY. (Aug 9-10,2003).
One of the observers also reported a brief look at a Queen on August 6th.
About 3 weeks after the photograph of the Queen at Assunpink WMA, NJ.

SUBJECT: Prospect Park - Giant Swallowtail

This afternoon [Sat. 9Aug2003] I shot some photos of a Giant
Swallowtail in the butterfly meadow on top of Lookout Hill in Prospect
Park. I told Peter Dorosh about it and he thought it was a pretty rare
sighting. He relocated it as well. The photos can be seen on my web

I also saw a Swamp Darner which was present last week as well.
