Hello all,
The McGuire Center for Lepidoptera Research is gearing up for its
February 2004 opening. Accordingly, they've sent out a request for
applications for several positions that will be available soon. My
understanding is that these proposals need to go through an evaluation
process that is being coordinated by reviewer Zane Greathouse. I'm not
familiar with this process of managing applications, so apologies if
I've misinterpreted the details here.
What I know for certain is that the McGuire Center staff are tremendous
and the facility plans took my breath away. The museum collections,
activities and exhibit will be great resources for the butterfly
conservation community. Getting in on the ground floor would be a great
opportunity for anyone committed to butterfly biology, research and/or
education.
Read on for Zane's request - if you have any questions about this
process, please direct them to him.
