Listers,

         Well, Spring butterflies haven't really started up in North GA 
yet, but last night was warm enough for a literal swarm of Phigalea 
geometrids (spanworms) on my back porch (more than 100).  Scattered among 
these were several other geometrids (like the uncommon, dull looking 
Paleacrita merricata) and a couple of more interesting looking noctuids 
like Psaphida grandis and the beautiful Feralia major.  All in all, over 
130 moths of about 10 species.  Fun just to see the numbers!
