Hi Kathryn,

You will find a good write-up in my book Butterflies East of the Great
Plains. 1983. Johns Hopkins University Press.

There is also a map of county records and a species account on the USGS
Butterflies of North America web site. To my knowledge it is
single-brooded throughout its range which does not include the Lower Rio
Grande valley or northern Mexico.

Anne Swengel of Baraboo, Wisconsin has done some population studies of
henrici in recent years.

Best wishes,

Paul Opler, Professor
Colorado State University
