Vanessa cardui

There are many Vanessa cardui flying here in Yuma, Arizona also.  Much 
smaller numbers than a couple of years ago and more prone to nectar at 
flowers and not so intent on pushing north.  Last week before the storms came 
through appeared to be the peak (March 10-14).  There were quite a few Queens 
also.
