Captive Breeding Program for Mitchell's Satyr

I have heard reports that a federally-sponsored study of captive breeding 
for Mitchell's Satyr ( Neonympha mitchellii ) is underway. Does anyone on 
our list know anything about this and how the project is going?

Is Mitchell's Satyr a difficult butterfly to raise in captivity and if so 
why?
