Everyone,

I have just finished updating my website with the complete database of
Tortricid types located at the USNM. Early last year I visited the USNM
with John Brown's type catalogue and photographed all of the types (I am
missing around 40 that were not present at the time). In the past year I
have entered the catalogue into a database, cross checked all of the
records, updated missing records, and edited all of the photographs. There
are currently around 1100 individual specimens from the USNM present on the
website with all relevant data.

The website also contains non-type specimen photos that are useful for
general identification, along with specimens from other museums (including
the Australian Museum in Sydney and the ANIC in Canberra). I will be adding
additional photos periodically, so check back often for updates:

Hopefully some of you will find this information useful. Email me with any
questions/comments. Thank you for your time!
