Seitz Macrolepidoptera of the World - Vol 5?

Is anyone out there familiar with the Seitz Macrolepidoptera of the World
publisher: "Die Gross-Schmetterlinge der Erde"?

Is the quality of these recently published versions any good? They are
asking $1,250 for volume 5 (English edition).

The older used versions of volume 5 go for $2,000 to $2,500 and have antique
book value associated with them. I am primarily interested in obtaining
volume 5 for research purposes and day to day use only. Does anyone have any
thoughts or experience on this subject?
