aberrant speyeria photos

All,

With the moderator's okay I have attached two photos I took on July 16,
2005 in Whately, MA,  Franklin Co., of what I guess is a Great Spangled
Fritillary, Speyeria cybele.
I'd be happy for any comments as to what is going on with that critter,
hybrid of some sort or did the parents just have too much caffine the day
before...
