Lepidopterist,

I am new in this mailing list. I decide to subscribe for to post a question.
Iam doing my Bachelor in Science Thesis working on the Life Cycle and Immature Stages of an arctiid moth Phoenicoprocta capistrata.

Describing the mature larva I found that they have some dense setae pointing backward on 7th segment, but I don't know if this type of setae has some speciall name.

Please, some one knows what name receive this kind of setae?? If it has a name, then in which reference I could find it???

I attach 3 pictures.

I apreciate any help!!

Regards,
Laura Rodríguez-Loeches Zarragoitia
