Ah, yes the Emmels' great tome. Without question, when it appears it is likely
to be the finest (and certainly most complete) butterfly book ever written.
Its the "when it appears" part that worries me. As a sophomore in high school,
I remember hearing at a Lep Soc meeting that it was close to being finished. I
then entered college, graduated, entered graduate school, spent four years
getting my degree, spend three years as a post-doc, and still no book. I
started as an Assistant professor, decided to write my own book (on a non-lep
subject), spent ten years writing it, and still no book. And all of that was 8
years ago! Is now a race been the return of Halley's comet and the publication
of the Emmel & Emmel book. I certainly look forward to both
Cheers
Bruce
