I live in a rural area in Deerfield, Kansas.  We are farmers.  I have a
black witch moth in a jar on my kitchen cabinet.  I think tomorrow my 4
year old grandson will be thrilled to see such a big butterfly [sic].
Found it clinging to the outside of the house.

Opened the internet to find out what it was.  The  pattern on it wings
is beautiful.
 
Will try to get a picture tomorrow before we turn it loose.
 
We raise corn and wheat so it may of came to eat a gourmet
meal??????????
