Monarch Butterfly Census Report

The World Wildlife Fund conducts the annual monarch censusing
of the overwintering sites in Mexico.  The WWF's latest colony censusing
report can be downloaded here:

On page 5 of that report the WWF has a graph of the hectares
(1 hectare = 2.48 acres) of forest occupied by clustering monarchs
over the past 14 overwintering seasons:

Notice the graph suggests monarch populations are stable
rather than decline.
