The photos don't show this skipper's full features; but the largest FW spot makes me think it is an Ocola Skipper. Cheers, Charlie

Hey Everyone,

I came upon this skipper this morning at Fort De Soto Parkin Pinellas County, FL. It was found in a field of flowers a few hundred yardsfrom the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Any ideas? It did NOT want to show theunderside of the hindwings! The forewings above have a distinct pattern oforange spots. The photos attached are compressed; here*s a link to theoriginals. These are three images from different angles of the same individuals. There were at least 2 other similarly marked ones in the area as well.

Regards,

Dan Irizarry
Bradenton, FL
