Dear friends and colleagues,
There is only one week left to submit a contributed talk or poster for the
International Lepidopterists' Conference in July in Denver (deadline 15
June). You can register later than this date, but we will be unable to
include your abstract in the program and abstract book. Many of the (free)
fieldtrips are already pretty full, but if you hurry, you might still get a
place.
To remind you:
The combined 2012 Annual Meeting of the Lepidopterists' Society and the
Societas Europaea Lepidopterologica will be hosted by the Denver Museum of
Nature & Science from 23 to 29 July 2012. No membership is necessary.
Grab the opportunity: Rocky Mountains and prairie in July's good weather;
good food; cheap, but good accommodation; access to the research collection
in-house, with Boulder and Fort Collins nearby; and an interesting program
with lots of free field trips.
For registration and additional information visit

The following symposia are planned:
Monitoring and Inventorying Lepidoptera (organizer Rich Bray)
Topics in Lepidoptera Conservation (organizer Astrid Caldas)
Plant-insect Interactions in the Lepidoptera (organizer Deane Bowers)
New developments in zoological nomenclature (discussion session, presented
and led by Frank Krell, ICZN)
Contributions do not need to fit into one of the symposia! We will accept
talks on most any Lepidoptera-related topic.
Please send your suggested talk and poster titles (and abstracts!) to the
program chair, Todd Gilligan, at tgilliga at gmail.com AND copy to
lepidopterist at dmns.org
