The congress, situated in a beautiful part of Bulgaria, will offer an exciting and varied scientific programme.
The following key note speakers have agreed to talk: Prof. Paul Brakefield, Prof. Niels Kristensen and Dr Lyubomir Penev and more are being asked.

The following symposia are being organised:
Molecular Phylogeny by Niklas Wahlberg
DNA barcoding European Lepidoptera by Marko Mutanen
Taxonomy, history and ecology of mining Lepidoptera by Jurate De Prins
Ecology and evolution of Nymphalid butterflies in Mediterranean and Alpine habitats by Andrea Gill
Taxonomy and speciation in Noctuidae by Laszlo Ronkay and Alberto Zilli
Biogeography and phylogeography of balkanic-carpathian and balkanic-alpine connections by Zoltan Varga

In addition there will be sessions for other contributed papers.

As a novelty, SEL is offering prices for the best student presentation and poster for BSc, MSC and PhD students. When submitting your talk, you can indicate whether you would like to compete.
