We have been raising some painted Ladies from my son's class and they have laid eggs. Because everything is shut down right now I'm not sure where to get them food in time for them to hatch. Right now they are laid on a gerbera daisy. do you have any suggestions until Amazon comes through? Thank you for any help you can provide. Then all you have to do is to delay egg hatching by keeping the eggs cool ? like in the high 30?s or low 40?s. It says it will arrive on April 8th. From what i can find online the eggs will hatch in 3-5 days so I didn't know what to do if they hatched before it arrived. Would the refrigerator be too cold or dehydrate them if we try to slow them down? Should I move the plant out of our butterfly enclosure? We have a 24"x24"x34" butterfly tent. Thanks for your help! WCU has cancelled all on-campus events through at least June. We will plan on holding the 2021 meeting at the same location on the same week in 2021 (June 15 - June 18), Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, North Carolina. LepSoc leadership appreciates all of the hard work by the organizing committee, and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2021! We had waited to find out about the WCU decision, which came today. Not unexpected, but still disappointing. We'll look forward to next year. Brian Scholtens (co-organizer with Jim Costa) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
