Given the medical significance of ticks to entomologists who occasionally
go off trail, I'm cross posting this notice to several butterfly lists.

Note, while concentrated on US ticks, Tyler also touches on the research he
conducted in Africa on ticks of veterinary importance.

Tyler also generously provided a PDF of his presentation if that would help
anyone.
