  * JUSTICE BREYER TALK  / (02-15-2010 4:30pm)/
Stephen Breyer, Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, will
visit campus on Monday, February 15, to deliver a lecture ?Making the
Constitution Work.? The talk, which is open only to members of the
Yale community, will take place in Levinson Auditorium at Yale Law
School, 127 Wall Street.  Doors open at 4:00, and the lecture starts
at 4:30 pm. Yale I.D. is required. Justice Breyer, a Clinton
appointee to the Supreme Court, will examine the Supreme Court?s role
in helping make the American Constitution work well in practice. His
talk will highlight key moments in the Court?s history that
illustrate the importance of public acceptance of the Court?s
decisions and also challenges the Court has faced in achieving this
public acceptance. 

  * GORDON GRAND LECTURE / (02-18-2010 4:30pm)/
This year?s Gordon Grand fellow, Jerry Speyer, is coming to campus
Thursday, February 18, to deliver a lecture, ?Nimble Thinking No
Matter What the Challenge.? The lecture begins at 4:30 pm and is held
in the auditorium of the Loria Center, 190 York Street. Jerry Speyer
is Chairman and Co-CEO of Tishman Speyer, one of the leading owners,
developers and operators of real estate in the world. Tishman
Speyer?s portfolio includes the Chrysler Building and Rockefeller
Center in New York; Berlin?s Sony Center; and Torre Norte in São
Paolo, Brazil. The Gordon Grand Fellowship seeks to promote dialogue
between business leaders and Yale students.  Located at the Loria
Center.
