To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:
1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.
2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments.
3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Subject:: Translation help
Dear MENDELE readers,
I am a comic performer and I'd like to translate some pop songs from
English to
Yiddish. My pigeon Yiddish/New Zealand accent doesn't 'cut the mustard'
and I'm
looking for someone with a keen sensibility and humour with some
knowledge of 60's /
70's music who can help me translate about five songs from ENGLISH TO
YIDDISH
Please let me know if anyone is available for this. It's not a paying
gig, but it
will be FUN.
Contact me at debfiller at sympatico.ca
I live in Toronto but can call you anywhere.
