Mendele Personal Notices & Announcements
December 14, 2010
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:
1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.
2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments;and
write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line.
3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Subject: A Yiddish Winterreise and A Yiddish "Die Schoene Mllerin"
Washington & NYC
Dear Friends
We are writing to let you know about the performances we will be giving of
our Yiddish song cycle programmes in Washington & NYC next year. We hope
they will
prove of real interest to you and that you will feel inclined to let your
members know that they will be able to hear us next February.
'A Yiddish Winterreise' will receive its American premier on 10 February
2011 at the Kennedy Center, Washington, with further performances, both of
this and our new programme ('Di Sheyne Milnerin' - A Yiddish 'Die Schoene
Mllerin) to be given at Symphony Space NY, NY on 14 and 16 February 2011.
Further details and other dates can be found in at the website listed
below.Do let us know if you would be interested in receiving any further
information and/or a copy of the 'Yiddish Winterreise' CD
which was released on the Naxos label earlier this year.
a sheynem dank
