Mendele Personal Notices & Announcements
January 16, 2011
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:
1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.
2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments;and
write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line.
3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Subject: Copywright owners sought
I am going to publish soon a bilingual (Polish-Yiddish) anthology of
Yiddish poetry written and published in post-war Poland (1945-1968) Nisht
oyf di taykhn fun Bovl (Not by the rivers of Babylon). I want to reclaim
all selected poems from oblivion and this is why I would like to identify
and contact the copywright owners of the following poets:
Nakhum BOMZE Paltyel CYBULSKI (Tsibulski)
Khayim Leyb FUKS
Volf Hersh IVAN
Elye (Eliasz) RAYZMAN
Yankev (Jakub) ZONSHAYN
Reyzl ZHYKHLINSKI (YCHLINSKI)
If you know any copywrighter owners of these poets, let me know, so that I
could contact them to get their permission to publish the selected poems.
